In today’s world of freight brokering I find that many new brokers fail because they don’t understand that there role is to take care of both sides of the transaction
Far too often, a new broker does not understand the operation cost of the trucking company and are only concerned with moving the load. This is a true mistake. Yes you may get the load moved, but will most likely lose the truck for future loads.
Why? They will tag you as a broker that only has cheap freight ad no matter how hard you work, cheap freight doesn’t move. At A1 we spend the time to help you to understand how and what affects the bottom-line. What an operating cost is and what tools are out there to help you, the new broker, to stay on top.
